The short version
You may cancel your Which Way, Wonder? membership at any time. There is no cancellation fee and no minimum term. After you cancel, you keep access through the end of the period you already paid for. We do not start a new $10 charge once cancellation is in effect.
What you are buying
Which Way, Wonder? is a digital service: access to an AI storyteller that writes branching stories for readers ages 6–16. It is not a physical product and not a one-time download. The price is $10 USD per month, billed in advance.
How to cancel
When member accounts are live, the parent or teacher who owns the account will be able to cancel from the billing screen after login.
You may also cancel by emailing [email protected] from the email address on the account. Please write “Cancel membership” in the subject line and include the account email. We will confirm when cancellation is complete. Until a self-serve billing screen exists, email is the official way to cancel.
Cancel at least before the next renewal if you do not want another month charged. We process email cancellation requests on business days.
Refunds
Because this is a digital subscription that is available as soon as the period begins, partial-month refunds are not automatic. If you cancel mid-cycle, you may keep using the service until that cycle ends; we do not typically refund the unused days.
We will refund or reverse a charge when:
- You were billed after a valid cancellation that we failed to apply;
- There was a duplicate or obvious billing error;
- The law where you live requires a refund; or
- We decide, as a courtesy, that a refund is the fair thing to do.
To request a refund, email [email protected] with the account email, the date of the charge, and a brief description. We aim to reply within a few business days. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method through our payment processor.
Chargebacks
If something is wrong with a charge, write to us first so we can fix it. A bank dispute filed without contacting us may delay a good-faith resolution.
Free trials and promotions
If we ever offer a trial or promotional month, the offer terms will say when paid billing starts and how to cancel before that date. Unless an offer says otherwise, the same cancellation rules apply.
